How it plays

From setup to match-won, on the watch.

Real screenshots from a Pixel Watch. Choose the format, pick how deuces resolve, decide who serves, score the match, and the result auto-syncs to your phone the moment you tap Done.

Seven skins. Same scoring engine.

Choose in Settings on the phone, sync to the watch. Switch any time — every skin maps to the same scoring state, so you can change layout mid-match without losing a point.

BluePadel watch — Half-and-half skin
Shipping default

Half-and-half

Time and set scores on top. Big Undo and End pills above blue and white tap zones. The current point sits on each tap zone — Us on the blue side, Them on the white. Serving side gets a tennis-ball indicator.

BluePadel watch — Broadcast skin with per-set scoreboard rows for each side
Full scoreboard

Broadcast

TV-style scoreboard. Us on top (blue) and Them on bottom (white), each showing every completed set's games plus the current point in a single horizontal row. Small Undo and End pills tuck into the bottom edge.

Plus five more, baked into the same app

Five additional layouts ship in BluePadel Pro. Same scoring engine, very different looks. Pick whichever suits your wrist.

  • CentrepointStripped to the score — one giant centred number block, every other detail a small edge chip.
  • ConcentricRound-watch native. Us is the inner disc, Them the outer ring, score floats in the centre.
  • Vertical stackUs on top, Them on bottom, score band in the middle with edge-docked Undo and End pills. Mirror-symmetric.
  • Diagonal MirrorDiagonal split — Us upper-right triangle, Them lower-left, score crossing the divide.
  • Court AerialTop-down padel court. The four service boxes are the tap zones, net line across the middle.
What's inside

Everything padel scoring should be.

Built on a pure-Kotlin scoring engine that's the same on watch and phone. No surprises, no drift.

Pure scoring engine

Deuce, advantage, golden point, tiebreak to 7, super tiebreak to 10. All deterministic, all unit-tested.

Hardware buttons

Map SELECT / DOWN / UP / BACK to Us, Them, Undo, End. Score without ever looking at the screen.

Best-of plus options

Best of 1 / 3 / 5 sets, golden-point toggle, final-set super-tiebreak toggle. Configure once per match.

Stats & history

Match list, per-match detail, win rate, points won, break points. Stored locally, yours to keep.

Auto-sync

Finished matches push to your phone over the Wearable Data Layer. Idempotent at the database — no duplicates.

Warmup & first server

Quick warmup screen before each match — pick who serves first, then jump straight into scoring.

How it works

Questions

Frequently asked.

Do I need both apps, or just the watch?
The watch app scores on its own — it works fully offline and stores the current match locally. The phone Companion is where the long-term history and stats live. You get both with one subscription.
Which watches and phones are supported?
Any Wear OS 3+ watch (Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch 4 and later, TicWatch Pro 5, etc.) and an Android phone on API 26+ (Android 8 Oreo or newer). Both ship from the same Google Play listing.
What's the difference between the seven skins?
They all drive the exact same scoring engine — only the screen layout changes. Half-and-half is the discoverable default. Vertical stack is mirror-symmetric for left- or right-handed play. Centrepoint strips everything down to the score. Concentric is a round-watch-native concentric-rings design. Broadcast looks like a TV scoreboard with every set's games visible. Diagonal Mirror splits the face on the diagonal. Court Aerial renders a top-down padel court — the four service boxes are the tap zones.
What happens if my watch loses connection during a match?
Nothing. Scoring runs locally on the watch — no network, no server. When the match ends, the result queues in the Wearable Data Layer and syncs the moment your phone comes back into range. The delivery is idempotent, so there are no duplicates.
Can I undo a point if I tap the wrong side?
Yes. Undo is always one tap or one hardware button away (UP). It walks the scoring engine backwards through every state — deuce, advantage, set-point — exactly the way you came in.
Does it handle golden point and super tiebreak?
Both, as per-match toggles. Golden point ends every deuce on the next rally. Super tiebreak replaces the final set with a first-to-ten, win-by-two tiebreak. Standard set rules apply otherwise: first to 6 games, win-by-2, regular tiebreak to 7 at 6–6.
Is there a free trial?
Google Play handles the trial flow. The current plan is a 7-day free trial on the annual subscription — start a match, finish a match, decide if it's for you. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
